Psychosexual Therapy
A confidential, non-judgemental place to explore sex, intimacy, desire and sexual difficulties.
Talking about sexual difficulties isn't always easy. You may be experiencing something that is affecting your confidence, relationships or sense of wellbeing, or simply feel unsure about what is happening. Psychosexual therapy offers an opportunity to explore these concerns with understanding, curiosity and without judgement.
I am currently completing specialist training in psychosexual and relationship therapy and undertake this work under supervision. Sessions are currently offered at a reduced rate while I complete my training.
Areas of Focus
-
Support in understanding physiological, psychological, and relational contributors, working gently with performance pressure, emotional blocks, and communication around pleasure.
-
We’ll explore the interplay between anxiety, expectations, medical factors, and relational patterns, while helping you rebuild confidence and expand your erotic template.
-
We’ll look at behavioural, cognitive, and relational strategies to reduce anxiety, increase bodily awareness, and supporting to create a more connected sexual experience.
-
We’ll work collaboratively to explore barriers to arousal and orgasm, address internalised beliefs, and cultivate embodied, self-directed pleasure and responsive desire.
-
I provide a trauma-aware, paced, and sensitive approach to pain-related concerns, supporting the development of safety, autonomy, and choice.
-
Together we can explore contextual, emotional, and relational factors influencing desire, normalising diverse desire patterns, and fostering more flexible, responsive models of intimacy.
-
We can explore the emotional, relational, and coping-based factors that can make sexual behaviours feel out of control. Our work will be based around reducing shame, building insight, and restoring a sense of choice and balance around sexual expression and desires.
